Why Koolanga Family Day Care Service?
Engage with the Founders
You will be engaging directly with founders who fully manage every aspect of the company with passion. They ensure meaningful relationships, dedicated support, quick and thoughtful decision-making, and a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes together.

We Manage All Payments
With our centralised payment model, we coordinate all payments from families. Our educators receive their full payment each week. This allows our educators more time to focus on the educational program, the environment and enjoying time with the children.
Educator’s Webpages
Each of our educators has a dedicated webpage featuring professional photographs and key details. This ensures families have access to all the essential information about their service.

Collaborative Platform
An innovative online platform designed to simplify administrative tasks for educators, foster collaboration, and provide access to educational resources, risk assessments, forms, courses, and more. It includes a reward system to recognise excellence in practice and encourages support and connection among all team members.
Online Onboarding Process
Our online onboarding process is designed to help you get started smoothly and efficiently. You'll have access to self-paced training, clear guidance on our policies and educational practices, and an introduction to our culture and values. We provide easy access to online tools and resources to simplify administrative tasks, along with ongoing support to ensure you're fully equipped for success in your new role.

Loose Parts
All our educators have free access to Remida to collect an incredible range of sustainable and creative resources.
Challenges for Educators and Children
Challenges with incentives created to encourage educators to improve their practices and motivate children to express their voices.

Educational Bags Program
Our educators can borrow educational bags, each containing a book, hands-on experiences with structured resources, and discussion questions. These bags not only encourage children to think creatively and explore but also support educators in developing their programs, inspiring them to create new extensions based on children's interests.

Simultaneous Reading
Koolanga is excited to participate in the National Simultaneous Storytime event each year. To support our educators, we purchase a copy of the selected book for each educator, ensuring they have the resources to engage with the event and enjoy sharing the story with the children in their care.

Collection of Online Experiences
Explore our online libraries, filled with a variety of programs and engaging experiences. Educators can easily use these activities and incorporate them into their own children's programs. This provides a great tool to try new ideas or revisit activities that may have been forgotten.

Book Library
Educators have access to a library containing books on Early Childhood Education as well as children's books.

No minimum Notice Period
As an educator with Koolanga, circumstances and opportunities change all the time. If you decide to close your service, there is no minimum notice period that educators must give us. Rather, we will work with that educator on the preferred closing date to give families as much time as possible to find alternate care, with Koolanga or elsewhere.

KOOL Magazine
Koolanga produces its own magazine, providing contemporary information, research, and relevant data to support professional growth in early childhood education. The first edition is planned for release by the second semester of 2025.

Continuous Improvement
By partnering with us, educators can be confident that they are working with a solid partner committed to continuous improvement. Our yearly self-assessment process and biweekly QIP reviews are essential tools for fostering a culture of growth and development. This approach emphasises learning, innovation, and support, ensuring educators are empowered and equipped to achieve excellence in their professional journey.
